What’s Polycuramine?
Polycuramine is a blend of Polyurea, Polyurethane, and Epoxy. It combines all the best components of each chemical into one self-leveling, flexible, fast curing, high-gloss, and indestructible coat. RockSolid Polycuramine comes in the Garage Floor Kit with an easy-to-mix pouch that combines A and B components. No mixing bucket required.

Step 1: Preparation
Preparation is key to any product. If your concrete floor has been previously coated, you'll need to prime it with Rust-Oleum Garage & Concrete Floor Primer it to prepare your concrete to be top coated with RockSolid Garage Coating. Using primer will eliminate the need to rent or buy a sander or grinder.

If your garage floor hasn’t been previously coated, you will want to clean the area using a broom and vacuum. Garages with heavier stains will need a degreaser. Thoroughly scrub and rinse the surface. Once cleaned, etching the floor is important to allow for proper adhesion. Etching opens the pores of concrete allowing the coating to adhere better. Use the supplied etch rinsing with water thoroughly. Allow to dry completely. Lastly, fill any cracks and tape off any areas around the perimeter you feel necessary.
Best Conditions for Application:
- 40-90 Degrees
- Low Humidity
- Adequate Ventilation
- Rain-Free for 48 hours

Step 2: Mix, Shake, and Pour
Burst the pouch by rolling part A into part B allowing components to mix together. Shake the pouch for 2-3 minutes to ensure the two components are combined. Pour the mixture along the edges and corners in 2-3” wide ribbons. Cut in the edges with a paint brush. Mix only one pouch at a time.

Step 3: Roll Out
Pour a small amount of the mixture on the floor. Working in 4’x4’ sections, roll it out using M and W patterns. Pull the mixture thread back and then push it forward to fill any bare spots between sections. Avoid creating thick spot and don’t be afraid to overlap.

Step 4: Broadcast
Paint a strip along the back wall, approximately 2-3' out from the wall. Spread your paint chips by throwing them up in the air over most of the 2-3' strip leaving 6-12" without chips. Pour a new ribbon of product 2’ away from previously coated area. Roll the next section and broadcast the paint chips again. Repeat these steps until your entire floor is covered. Average cure time is 8-10 hours for foot traffic and 24 hours for drive on traffic.
